Leaky Gut Does Not Happen Overnight The Long Term Cause

If you thought you developed the Leaky Gut Syndrome due to some things that you have been eating over the past few days, think again. There are a lot of things that go into having you suffer from a leaky gut. It is things like prolonged dietary imbalances, exposure to processed foods only and a general neglect of whole food that goes into causing the leaky gut.

The first one of the factors is prolonged dietary imbalances. There are most often a conscious imbalance rather than being a subconscious decision. People eat what they like to eat keeping aside the benefits and disadvantages of the food being consumed. This caused the people to have imbalances of diet that cannot be easily rectified in a short period in time. The second factor causing a leaky gut is prolonged exposure to processed food. This is the major culprit behind the increasing prevelance of many leaky gut symptoms for the majority of people suffering from it.

A prolonged exposure to processed food means that you are exposing yourself to harmful toxins contained therein. These cause havoc with the dietary system and thus cause the leaky gut. The third and most important factor causing the leaky gut is a prolonged denial of whole foods in the diet. Whole foods, when consumed, have a tendency to aid the digestive system. They are known to be the helpers of the digestive system. A prolonged denial of these foods in the diet will cause havoc and cause ailments like the leaky gut.
