August 24, 2010

If getting up early in the morning, spitting in a glass of water and then watching what happens to your spit over the next hour or so is exciting to you then go ahead and do your Candida Spit Test tomorrow morning.

You can’t really do any harm by going through your Candida Spit Test, but It is by and large an unreliable test.

In an effort to get an understanding of the accuracy of a Candida Spit Test, I have gone through the process on a few occasions. I am very healthy with no particular reason to carry out a Candida Spit Test other than for my own research. First test indicated that I was in fact in good health. However on two other samples there were some negative signs. I can assure you I have no symptoms of this condition, My diet is not conducive to it and I am not exposed to some of the other contributors to yeast intolerance.

But once again if you want to do a Candida Spit Test go right ahead, I just want to make sure to do not place to much emphasis on the results that it gives.

So here is what you do;

Get yourself a glass of water and put it somewhere that you will notice when you first get up the next morning. Make sure it is a glass or cup that you can clearly see through so that you can see what is happening with your saliva.

Now off you go to bed.

So when you wake up the very first thing you need to do is work up a good spit, and the second thing is drop it into that glass. Try to be nice about this, you don’t need to be making a mess.

Observe the appearance of the saliva so that you can know what it started out like, and then its time to get on with your day.

About every 15 minutes you should review your Candida Spit Test to see what is happening, and do that at least 3 or even better 4 times.

Here is what to watch for that is meant to show that you have a problem. Just prior to listing those, these are the Healthy signs of a Candida Spit Test. Saliva that stays on top of the water but eventually dissipates into the water, is a good sign

Now the other things that can happen is that your spit makes the water go cloudy, or it develops strings, or it sinks to the bottom but remains cloudy. Lastly there could be spots remaining floating in the water.

According to the Candida spit test theory, if any of this shows up you have Candida Albicans Overgrowth. And the faster it happens the bigger your problem.

It is most likely that there is some foundation to the results that a Candida Spit Test provide. and assuming that you are researching this topic because you already have your suspicions, a positive result may actually an accurate test.

Accepting that your results may well be positive, use that information in the right manner and that is to go to the next level of getting advice from a doctor. Sure do your candida spit test, but don’t put to much emphasis on its results.

In the mean time it is really important to review your diet. In most cases of Candida Albicans Overgrowth, regardless of the spark that lit the fire, there is usually an underlying food issue.
